🏴☠️🥎 The Lady Pirates Softball Camp concluded last night and all I can say is WOW! We had over 30 girls from 3 different schools at every session! We worked on fielding fundamentals, throwing forms, outfield positioning and hitting. The best thing about our camp is it was absolutely FREE! A big THANK YOU to Riverside Local School District - DeGraff and Coach Andrew Jay Phelps for letting us use the gym and the equipment for our camp. I also need to thank Barbara Anne Courter , RHS Varsity Softball players Jayden Hoffer ( Kasie Ropp Hoffer ), Jaidyn Jackson ( Jinger Jackson ), Miah Carman ( Andrea Kern ), Emilee Robinson ( Monica Robinson ), JH Softball Players Eva Dodds ( Olivia Bryant ) and Bella Robinson for helping with the camp. The camp would not have been as successful without the help of these ladies. It was awesome watching these HS and JH players help and teach the game to the younger girls. Thank you Brittney McClintick for motivating me to do the camp. Lastly, thank you to the parents and players for attending. Thank you for trusting me to teach the girls the game of softball. Officer Jean delivered an awesome presentation about bees to our second graders. They learned so much and they were so excited to taste real honey!!🍯
7-12 ended the week with Ag Olympics. Ag members competed in a wheel barrel race, human wheel barrel challenge, hay stacking, and finally the milk chug. Very entertaining!

The 2025 Logan County Art and Music Festival is April 11th-13th at the Holland Theater in Bellefontaine. The opening reception will be Friday evening April 11th 5:00-8:00 with the Choir Concert at 7:30. There will be viewing hours for the Art Show 1:00-3:00 in the afternoon on Saturday and Sunday the 12th and 13th. 13 High School Students and 3 Junior High Students will have artwork on display at the Art and Music Festival. Ms. Steinke will also have some beautiful Elementary to Junior High pieces on display as well.

2025-2026 Open Enrollment applications are due date by April 15, 2025 for current Open Enrolled students. Please complete the application and return it to the school by April 15th. Any late applications will be reviewed along with the new student applicants.
