High School Student Council held their last meeting this week and celebrated the senior members graduating with a luncheon, pictures, and games. We thanked all of the members for their hard work for the year putting on the dances, Senior Nights, the Veterans Day Assembly, and hosting a school wide fundraiser. Students involved in student council have a chance to share their leadership skills, organizational skills, public speaking skills, creativity, and work ethic. The family members of these students are greatly appreciated for bringing the kids early to set up for events, picking up kids late after dance tear down, and for donating supplies, decorations, or food for dances and meetings.
The meetings and activites were run by the officers: President - Hailey Noggler, Vice President- Dylyn Burchett, Secretary - Kristina Plank, Activities Coordinator - Gage Stevenson,
Advisors - Mrs. Marks and Mrs. Jenkins.
The pictures below are from the meeting held on Tuesday, April 29.

Staff Spotlight Day. Today we highlight Mrs. Ehresmann.
Mrs. Ehresmann works in our upper elementary where she is asked to do multiple things in one day of work. Recess duty to aiding students with classwork as well as little errands to help teachers. She does all this with a big smile and is friendly with all who come in contact with her. We love her attitude and sense of humor, our students love her. When I went to take her pic she was swinging with one of our students, a great pic of a lady with a big heart. Thanks for all you do, Mrs. Ehresmann, we are blessed that you are part of our Pirate family.

Riverside 5-12 Art Show
Wednesday May 8th will be the Riverside grades 5-12 Art Show. It will run 4-7 pm that evening. The best artwork from the 2023-2024 school year will be on display. There is so much good artwork to come and see. It is always better when you come and see art in person than just viewing it online, so I hope to see a lot of people come. I will post pictures from the show online. This special night for seniors who have been in art for several years and some since their freshmen year. There is also a Band Concert that night and the Band always puts on a really good show.
