Parents are invited to attend an informational meeting to find out more about the changes to our cell phone policy for the 2024-25 school year. The forum is scheduled for August 5th at 6:30pm in the Auditorium. We hope you will join us!

RIVERSIDE ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME NOMINATIONS
The Riverside Athletic Department is accepting nominations for induction into the Riverside Athletic Hall of Fame. The following forms are attached.

Riverside junior golfer Reaghan McDaniel finished 2nd in the Liberty Hills 2024 Women's Championship, shooting a 75. Reaghan created some excitement during the event when she aced the par three 5th hole. Great job Reaghan!


Summer Camp Reminders


RIVERSIDE FALL ATHLETIC PARENT/PLAYER MEETING & FALL TEAM MEETINGS
WEDNESDAY, JULY 31, 2024: 6:30 PM
LOCATION: AUDITERIA
*FALL ATHLETIC MEETING: This meeting will start at 6:30 pm in the Auditeria. This meeting is required for all Riverside athletes and their parents who are playing a fall sport in 2024 in grades 7-12.
*FALL TEAM MEETINGS: These meetings will start at approximately 7:00 pm (or immediately following the 1st meeting). These meetings are also required for all Riverside Fall Athletes/Parents. You will be meeting with the coaching staff for your sport.
REMINDERS:
*Athletes must have a current athletic physical to participate in practices, scrimmages, games, etc. In addition, all athletes and their parents need to go to Final Forms and electronically read, update, and sign all athletic forms.
BOTH OF THESE NEED TO BE COMPLETED BY THE 1ST DAY OF PRACTICE
*JULY 29: 1st Official Practice Date for Golf
*AUGUST 1: 1st Official Practice Date for Football, Volleyball

Riverside is looking for a Part Time Cafeteria Staff - Dishwasher and a Bus Aide for the 2024-2025 school year. If you are interested in either position, please email your letter of interest to Mr. Jason Bell at jcbell@rlspirates.org


Great news for you and your students! All enrolled students of Riverside Local School District are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2024-2025 school year. No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application. See attached for explanation.

Great entertainment provided by Brian Weiskittle, and a delicious dinner provided by Vic's Country Cookin'!

Travis Brooks placed 3rd in shot put at the D3 Southwest Regional meet Friday night in Troy, and advances to compete in the State meet next week!
Travis broke our school record at Regionals Friday with a shot put of 52' 4.5", breaking the 1968 record previously held by Don Wohlgamuth!
Travis competes at Welcome Stadium in Dayton on Thursday, May 30th, at 6 pm.

Kinders kicked off summer with a camp out & class picnic. What could be S'MORE fun?! We were missing a few friends but enjoyed our time together and are looking forward to SUMMER break!
