Important Info Going Home! Keep an eye out for a letter today/tomorrow regarding our state-mandated child sexual abuse prevention curriculum. This is required by Ohio law, it is not a Riverside policy/decision. This annual program is designed to educate and empower students with vital safety information. Please review the letter for details. It is being sent home with your student, you have the ability to opt your child out. Please sign the paper and send it back to school tomorrow or Monday. You may also email Mr. Hodge (bhodge@rlspirates.org ) and Ms. Huffman (ohuffman@rlspirates.org) if you need to.
The free curriculum we will be using is fightchildabuse.org , feel free to check out the 15-20 minutes worth of videos we will be showing, via the Barbara Sinatra Children's Center Foundation. The letter is attached to this post.
