Riverside Local Schools would like to announce the 2026 Snowball Court and festivities. Congratulations to Queen Mariah Williams and King Blaine Shoe. The Queen and King asked Everly Sine to be the princess, and Owen Reinhard will be the little Prince. They will be joined on the court with: Senior Attendant and Escort- Allison Estep and Hayden Sanford Junior Attendant and Escort- Miah Carman and Gabe Steineman Sophomore Attendant and Escort- Madalynn Bower and Corbin Reed Freshman Attendant and Escort- Ellie Zwiebel and Mason Morrison There will be a pep rally held at the end of the school day on January 30th that will include cheers, games, and the reverse court. The Snowball Court will be announced later that Friday night between the JV and Varsity games. The Snowball Dance and festivities will take place after the game in the auditeria from 9:00- 11:00pm. This will be an exciting time for the Riverside community!

*RIVERSIDE ATHLETIC BOOSTERS: CONTESTS FOR TUESDAY, JANUARY 6, 2026*
1. RAFFLE BASKETS: The boosters will have 2 more baskets to raffle off at tonight's HS boys basketball games.
Tickets are $1 each. The 2 baskets tonight were donated by the HS Girls Basketball Team and the HS Football Team

2. SHOT FOR THE JACKPOT: The jackpot tonight is worth $177. If your ticket is drawn, you automatically win $25. You
can then shoot a half-court shot for the $177 jackpot. You can have someone else shoot for you.
Tickets are 3 for $1 or an Arms Length for $5.

*RIVERSIDE VARSITY BOYS BASKETBALL*
At a recent home RHS boys basketball game, Coach Showalter was presented with the game ball from his first varsity win as the Riverside head coach. The first win was against Graham by a score of 61-55 on November 29.
We look forward to many more victories!

The Riverside Boys Basketball team is hosting an alumni game Saturday December 27th at 6:30pm. It will operate just like a normal varsity game. Admission is free and there will be concessions available. This game is open to the public for attendance. Please come out and support past and current Riverside boys basketball players.
