Tonight my Elementary Student Council members worked on posters for the upcoming Father- Daughter dance and the Color Run hosted by the PTO. They all did a GREAT job but special PIRATE SHOUT OUT for Elena and April's artwork!!! WOW! ❤️✍️🏴☠️💙

We've been teaching Sources of Strength curriculum to grades 5 & 6 this year. Today they practiced some techniques to help regulate big, tricky emotions like sadness, anger, & anxiety. Playing with Ellie is definitely something that helps with those big emotions ♥️

Right to Read Week! Wear your yellow tomorrow!

To kick off our new reading unit on Animal Homes my Kinders did a Jigsaw activity. In expert groups they explored books about the rainforest & sorted animals that belonged/did not belong there. Back in home groups they collaborated to create their poster & then presented it. ❤️💙

A fun night was enjoyed by all. At the end of the night door prizes were given out from COSI.

Congratulations to Art 3 students Cirus Gonzales and Evie McGill for being this year's Art representatives at the Honda Breakfast. Cirus and Evie have both worked hard and have really developed their artistic ability. They have created several really high quality pieces of art this year. They both put so much into their work and it makes feel so good as teacher when you see a couple of students with the dedication they both have shown this year.

This week Dr. Seuss is on the Loose in Kindergarten!! Today my LITTLE THINGS were excited to share the Wockets they created after listening to Mrs. Davidson read the story There's a Wocket in my Pocket! ❤️💙
