Siera Barhorst represented Riverside last week at the luncheon hosted by the local Kiwanis to honor Seniors of the Month across the county.

K-6 students who had a successful talent show audition received a form like this. The show is not open to the public but we are allowing family members of performers to attend. They will need an ID to scan for admittance in the school-get here early. Thanks!

Our State Champion Bowling team was honored today at the Southwest Athletic Board breakfast. Representing Riverside was Superintendent Dr Mann, Bowling Head Coach Zerah Crouch, and Athletic Director Rod Yoder. Our bowling team members are currently in California for the BPA National competition. They are Zander Crouch, Gage Stevenson, Sam King, Andrew Knight, Tyler Knight and Asst Coach Jaime Yelton.

Riverside 5-12 Art Show will be May 3rd 4-7pm in the main hallway at the school. The 5-12 band concert will also be taking place that evening. All of the best artwork from the 2022-2023 school year will be on display. Please come in and enjoy all the great artwork.

Students and Parents,
Grade 5-12
As we near the end of the school year I want to remind you of a few things. When turning in your Chromebooks, here are a list of things to check.
1. Return the charger and chromebook that you were assigned at the beginning of the year. Please make sure they are in your chromebook case. If your charger is not in the case I have no way of knowing it is yours an you may be charged for it.
2. If you turn in a damaged Chromebook you will be charged for the repair. Please come see me with issues before you leave for the summer. Lets get it fixed before you turn it in.
3. Remove all personal stickers from your chromebook. We have 700 of these to clean and get ready for you next year. We love unicorns too, just not on our chromebooks. The unicorn sticker goo left behind is very hard to clean off.
4. Clean out your case before you return it. I find money, headphones, personal notes. Please take 10 seconds and clean out everything but the charger and Chromebook. Deputy Jean and I did find enough last year to buy us a pizza for lunch. Thanks for that. ( Just teasing, maybe enough to buy one breadstick)
I will send this reminder out again in a few weeks. Just giving you some time to prepare.
Lost Chromebook: $200
Lost Charger: $25
Lost Case : $20
Thanks for your help. Mr. DeMotte.

This Tuesday is our Bridge to Learning: Birth to 5, event. 17 community partners will be present to provide parents and caregivers tips, information, and resources to support healthy development of the whole child. We hope to see you there!

RIVERSIDE VS. LEHMAN: Pop Can Tab Collection: May 1 is the last day of the contest to collect Pop Can Tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Please send in your pop tabs and help Riverside beat Lehman. Thanks!
